Adhesive Solutions for General Purpose Applications

With the growth of eCommerce and advanced inventory management systems, the use of Variable Information (VI) for shipping and tracking barcodes have rapidly increased across many industries. These adhesive solutions must maintain their bonding integrity during the shipping process and throughout the life of the stored box or container. They need stability in a wide range of alternating temperatures and humidity, and maximum adhesion during shipping and handling.

Avery Dennison Performance Polymers offers a portfolio of emulsion modified acrylic, UV-cured and synthetic rubber hot melt adhesives especially designed for these applications. These adhesives provide bond integrity to many difficult surfaces, including high-recycled content cardboard and plastics, and are formulated to be low-ooze for a consistent release, even at high application speeds. These adhesive solutions feature TAPPI UM 213 repulpability, enabling the creation of a fully recyclable label construction.

In addition to standard adhesives, the challenging nature of these applications often requires specifically formulated, customized adhesive solutions.
